Holiday heat!

Hey y'all! How are y'all holding up in this heat?! All along the Southeast coast I have seen the posts regarding the hot temperatures and believe me, I understand. Here is South Florida, it is sometimes 80 degrees before 8 am and don't get me started on the humidity because that's a separate post in itself! 

This holiday I plan to park myself in the pool to keep cool. It's much easier than fighting the beach crowds and you don't have to brave the blazing hot sands. Also, if you're reading this, I'm looking for a family cookout in the area that I can drop by and grab a to go plate. #HonoraryFamilyMember 

 Also, shout to all of my friends back home celebrating Lumbee homecoming with collard wraps and steak sandwiches. I envy you, honestly, truly!
